Job summary

The Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Stormwater Project Manager to grow stormwater compliance and consulting services, with a focus on developing new business, strengthening client relationships, and integrating stormwater practices into projects.

The role balances business development (60%) with project management (40%) and technical leadership. Responsibilities include leading proposals and budgets, performing NPDES inspections, coordinating BMPs with field teams, and mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience conducting NPDES stormwater and/or SWPPP inspections.
• 8+ years in natural resources ecological consulting and habitat restoration is preferred.
• Knowledge of NPDES permitting, erosion control BMPs, and stormwater documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of proposals, budgets, and bids, including Go/No-Go decisions.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand client base.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary contact.
• Oversee NPDES stormwater inspections and reporting.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and field teams to implement BMPs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff; monitor profitability and safety.
