Job summary

The City of Medford is seeking a Stormwater Program Specialist to join the Public Works Engineering team. This role blends technical work, field inspections, and environmental compliance while collaborating with engineers, contractors, property owners and partner agencies.

Ideal candidates bring experience in stormwater design, hydrology and hydraulics, erosion control, environmental compliance, or water-quality programs, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reviewing plans and calculations related to stormwater.
• Experience with stormwater design, hydrology and hydraulics, erosion control, or water-quality programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication for technical information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and participates in project development meetings and documents.
• Responds to drainage concerns and coordinates with engineers, contractors, and property owners.
• Reviews plans and specifications for public contracts and monitors progress.
• Performs field inspections to verify plan and construction accuracy.
