Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in water utilities operations or stormwater assets and operations.
• Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience are required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Directs, manages, and oversees stormwater operations, maintenance, and efficiency for Dallas Water Utilities.
• Directs hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, and time approvals for department staff.
• Develops and implements long-range plans, programs and schedules; sets goals for the department.
• Oversees field operations in neighborhoods, creeks, channels, and floodway areas; documents labor, parts, and costs.
• Coordinates maintenance with contractors and other city departments to ensure efficient work.
• Develops and manages department budget and procurement; ensures cost-effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as needed.
