Qualifications

  • Must obtain Certified Floodplain Manager license within one year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage drainage capital improvement projects and master planning efforts.
  • Review drainage plans for capital roadway projects and private development.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers, engineers, and contractors.
  • Oversee floodplain issues and review flood studies; act as Floodplain administrator.
  • Prepare and submit annual reports for the National Flood Insurance Program.
