Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Stormwater Engineer/Scientist to support stormwater compliance and design for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.

You will prepare SWPPPs, ERA reports, and data analyses; perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses; design BMPs; inspect sites for permit conformance; and collaborate with project teams. PE license or QISP preferred; 3+ years in environmental engineering/consulting; travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years in environmental engineering/consulting focused on stormwater projects.
• PE, EIT, or PG license preferred.
• QISP certification preferred or interest in obtaining.
• Experience with CAD/ESRI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects within the Environmental practice.
• Prepare SWPPPs, ERA reports, memoranda, and data analysis.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of stormwater runoff.
• Design stormwater best management practices.
• Inspect sites for permit compliance.
• Assist with permit applications and agency communications.
• Provide client training on permit requirements and BMPs.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams.
