Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. in Daly City is seeking a Stormwater Engineer/Scientist to support stormwater compliance and design projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. The role reports to the Team Leader and involves data analysis, reports, and field inspections.

The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental engineering background, 3+ years of experience, and skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS. Travel up to 20% and a PE or geology license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of environmental engineering/consulting experience with stormwater.
• PE/GE license preferred; QISP certification of interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare memoranda, ERA reports, SWPPPs, and data analyses.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses of stormwater runoff.
• Inspect sites for permit conformance and collect samples.
• Provide client training on permits and BMPs; assist with permit applications.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver successful projects.
