Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is seeking a Stormwater Engineer/Scientist to support stormwater compliance and design projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients across the United States.

You will prepare technical memoranda and SWPPPs, perform hydrologic analyses, design BMPs, and help ensure permit compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A PE license or related credentials are preferred, with field-site inspection experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Environmental practice with the ability to step in and immediately manage various environmental projects
• Prepare technical memoranda, ERA reports, electronic deliverables, and SWPPPs and review data throughout the project cycle
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of stormwater runoff
• Design stormwater best management practices
• Inspect sites for conformance with stormwater permit requirements
• Perform pollutant source assessments
• Collect samples and evaluate stormwater quality data
• Provide training to client personnel regarding permit requirements and BMP implementation
• Assist with permit applications and communicate with environmental permitting agencies
• Work with internal and external team members to produce successful projects
• Other duties as required
