Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc is seeking a Stormwater Engineer/Scientist to support stormwater compliance and management design for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients in the United States. You will work with the Environmental practice to develop SWPPPs, perform hydrologic analyses, and design best management practices while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field (master’s preferred) and 3+ years in environmental engineering/consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology or Environmental Science (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years in environmental engineering/consulting with industrial stormwater experience.
• Professional Engineer license, Engineer-In-Training, or Geologist license preferred.
• QISP certification or interest in obtaining preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or ESRI Pro preferred.
• HAZWOPPER training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support stormwater compliance and design projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
• Prepare technical memoranda, ERA reports, SWPPPs, and data analysis throughout the project cycle.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of stormwater runoff; design BMPs.
• Inspect sites for conformance with stormwater permit requirements; collect samples and evaluate data.
• Provide client training on permit requirements and BMP implementation; assist with permit applications.
