Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc is seeking a Stormwater Engineer/Scientist to support industrial stormwater compliance and design projects for municipal, commercial, and private clients. You will work with the Environmental practice to perform analyses, develop SWPPPs, and prepare technical documents.

The role requires 3+ years in environmental engineering/consulting with a background in industrial stormwater; PE/EIT/PG preferred and QISP interest is a plus. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in environmental engineering/consulting with a background in industrial stormwater
• PE license or EIT or PG license preferred
• QISP certification or interest in obtaining preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or ESRI Pro software preferred
• OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred

Responsibilities

• Support stormwater compliance and design projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients
• Prepare ERA reports, SWPPPs and review data across project cycle
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of stormwater runoff
• Design stormwater best management practices
• Inspect sites for permit conformance and collect samples
• Provide training on permit requirements, sampling procedures, and BMP implementation
• Assist with permit applications and liaise with permitting agencies
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver successful projects
