Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Team Leader to work at a customer's site in High Point, NC. You will coordinate storeroom operations, train others on procedures, and manage inventory while addressing customer issues and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma with 4+ years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS-Office. You will work on-site with periodic extended hours and occasional safety considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge.
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
• Quality mindset with attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn company software.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers via phone, email, or in person with high service levels.
• Coordinate and perform tasks for ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, and inventory management.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to optimize resource use and meet schedules.
• Enter data into databases and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor handling procedures and space utilization; suggest improvements.
• Train and mentor others on storeroom operations and safety.
• Assist with safe operation of storeroom and perform related duties.
