Job summary

Vallen is hiring a Storeroom Crib Attendant to manage daily receiving, stocking, and issuing of inventory at a customer site. You will help maintain organized stock, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate records while supporting a safe work environment.

You will collaborate with team members, handle data entry, and assist with inventory control tasks to maintain timely deliveries and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent coupled with 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency; MS-Office products experience preferred.
• Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide; etc.).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items; arranges storage to optimize space.
• Issues product to site employees; documents and maintains records for issued items.
• Enters data into a database or system to maintain stock records and respond to inquiries.
• Maintains inventory levels; performs cycle counts and prepares reports.
• Delivers tools or equipment to associate work locations and assists with locating missing items.
• May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.
