Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to work at a customer site and perform daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and Vallen inventory. You will maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include unloading and verifying goods, labeling and storing items, issuing items to site personnel, updating stock records in the system, performing cycle counts, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months related experience
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming product and checks for damage
• Sorts, labels and stores items in racks and bins according to predetermined sequence
• Issues items to site employees and maintains accurate records of issued and returned items
• Updates stock records in a database or system and investigates discrepancies
• Performs cycle counts and maintains perpetual inventory
