Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Storeroom Team Leader to join our field team at a customer site in Simpsonville, SC. You will coordinate work assignments, train team members on storeroom operations, manage inventory, and address customer issues, while leading by example and ensuring policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS-Office. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with MS-Office and the ability to learn company software.
• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and a quality mindset.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level customer service by responding to customers via phone, email or in person.
• Coordinates and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, binning, packing, labeling, pricing, delivering and maintaining a perpetual inventory of the customer's material.
• Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure the team resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records; retrieves stored information from the system of record.
• Trains, mentors, and monitors others on storeroom operations, handling storeroom materials, usage of storeroom tools, addressing customer issues.
• Assists with ensuring the safe operation of storeroom.
