Job summary

Vallen is hiring a Storeroom Crib Attendant to work at a customer site, handling daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. You will maintain a clean, organized work area and support efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma with minimal experience, basic computer skills, forklift familiarity, and strong teamwork and customer service abilities. This role may involve varying shifts and physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in warehouse; forklift/cherry picker preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge; MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Basic math skills (rates, ratios, percentages) and counting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; teamwork orientation; attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming products; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels and stores items; optimizes crib space on racks and shelves.
• Issues items to site employees; maintains accurate issued/returned records.
• Enters stock data into computer systems and retrieves information for inquiries.
• Performs cycle counts and generates inventory reports.
