Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks a VSS Storeroom Representative I to support customer locations with procurement of products meeting price, quality, and delivery standards.

You will place requisitions, manage vendor communications, and ensure timely orders while upholding Vallen's service commitments. The role requires 2–3 years of customer service experience, ERP/Inventory systems familiarity, and strong attention to detail.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years in Customer Service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Procurement activities to meet customer demand (stock/non-stock/spot buys) and align with purchasing strategies.
• Assess orders to expedite or de-expedite for on-time delivery.
• Research and recommend vendors to meet price, quality, and delivery standards.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products; coordinate returns/replacements.
• Follow up on purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve timeliness and quality issues.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Research and resolve accounts payable nonconformance with suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for customer cost savings.
• Follow Vallen SOPs and ensure a professional, neat worksite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
