Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to support receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting at a customer site. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and safety in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma with a few months of related experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate in variable conditions. Overtime and physical requirements are common in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience.
• Experience loading/unloading, picking, packing in a warehouse; forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with MS Office and warehouse software.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail; safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and store incoming goods; check for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and store items; optimize crib space and organization.
• Issue items to site employees and maintain records of issued/returned goods.
• Enter data into databases and respond to inventory inquiries; log discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts and generate inventory reports; support stock management.
• Handle inquiries about stock levels and delivery schedules; assist with replenishments.
• Perform basic inspections of tools and equipment and report wear or damage.
