VIA Metro Transit in San Antonio, Texas, seeks a storeroom supervisor to lead a team of 16+ employees, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and issuance of vehicle parts and supplies in the Fleet and Facilities Maintenance department.

You will train staff on material handling, oversee timekeeping, maintain safety, coordinate with Procurement, and monitor inventory accuracy to prevent stockouts while controlling budgets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with four years of related fleet/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of material, supplies, and equipment used in vehicle and facility maintenance servicing activities.
• Ability to work in a high intensity environment with multitasking and time management.
• Must have valid Texas Driver's License (Class-C).

Responsabilités

• Plans, assigns, and coordinates work for storeroom employees.
• Oversees inventory and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Operates VIA Warehouse Management System to track parts and materials.
• Monitors stock levels, back-orders, and reorder points to prevent stock-outs.
