Job summary

Sysco San Antonio is hiring a Transportation Supervisor to ensure efficient and timely product delivery through planning, monitoring driver performance, and managing expenses in a dynamic environment.

You will supervise transportation staff, maintain records, review logs for DOT compliance, and optimize routes while coordinating payroll and vendor invoices. CDL is required; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of transportation supervisor experience.
• 4 years of transportation experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, shippers, customers, and Company personnel.
• CDL license required.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor driver performance via trip master and other control features.
• Maintain detailed records of driver pay, equipment maintenance and performance.
• Review driver logs and paperwork for accuracy and policy/DOT compliance.
• Monitor equipment to ensure safe operation and minimize breakdowns.
• Plan and schedule assignments for transportation personnel; process payroll.
• Review routing and adjust for optimal efficiency.
• Verify vendor invoices and complete A/P vouchers.
• Monitor expenses and fuel reports; manage DOT requirements.
