Job summary

The Comfort Group - Asia Pacific is seeking a reliable Store Person – Dispatch for our Deer Park Factory. This hands-on role focuses on dispatch, order picking, finished goods handling and ensuring accurate, on-time customer orders.

You will work closely with production and stores teams, use scanners or warehouse systems, and operate forklifts where licensed. A safety-focused, proactive team member with attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and prepare finished goods for customer dispatch
  • Check orders against work orders, picking documentation and dispatch requirements
  • Ensure products are correctly labelled, packed and wrapped for transport
  • Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently
  • Organise finished goods within the warehouse and dispatch areas
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trolleys and forklifts where appropriately licensed and authorised
  • Complete work order scanning and dispatch-related records accurately
  • Check product quantities, identification and packaging prior to dispatch
  • Identify and report damaged, incorrect or defective products
  • Assist with stock movements, cycle counts and stocktake activities
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe dispatch area
  • Follow all Safe Operating Procedures, quality requirements and company policies
  • Work closely with production and stores teams to meet daily dispatch requirements
  • Participate in safety, 5S and continuous improvement activities
  • Undertake other warehouse and factory duties as required

What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Person – Dispatch to join our team at our Deer Park Factory. This is a hands‑on warehouse role focused on dispatch, order picking, finished goods handling, and ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in getting orders accurately, safely and on time.

  • Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, stores or manufacturing
  • Current LF Forklift Licence
  • Experience loading trucks and preparing freight for transport
  • Experience using scanners or warehouse management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines and productivity targets
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures and dispatch documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, reliable and proactive approach to work
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to perform manual handling and warehouse duties
