Job summary

Middy’s Electrical is seeking a reliable Storeperson/Driver to join our branch team. In this hands-on role you will handle receiving, processing and dispatching goods, plus completing customer deliveries and supporting day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with branch staff to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries and excellent service. A valid driver’s licence is essential, and forklift capacity is highly regarded.

The Role

Middy’s is looking for a reliable and team-focused Storeperson/Driver to join our branch team. In this hands‑on role, you will play an important part in receiving, handling and dispatching goods, completing customer deliveries and supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the branch. You will also be a key link between the branch, customers and suppliers, helping ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Receive, check and process incoming goods accurately against paperwork.
• Process customer orders, including picking and packing goods for delivery or collection.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers safely and efficiently.
• Organise stock and maintain a clean, safe and well‑presented store.
• Organise and complete delivery runs in line with scheduled delivery times.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is completed correctly and customer signatures are obtained.
• Coordinate customer delivery and pickup requirements.
• Assist customers with enquiries and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process returned goods and assist with customer credits where required.
• Return defective, oversupplied or incorrectly delivered goods to suppliers.
• Work closely with branch staff to support efficient daily operations.
• Maintain accurate information within branch systems and follow company processes.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.
