Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate in Texas to support shipping and receiving operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and safety standards to ensure products reach customers safely and on time.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, staging materials, managing paperwork, and maintaining inventory accuracy. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior warehouse experience are preferred, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of products in trailers.
• Distribute pallets from palletizer to distribution trailers and staging areas.
• Stage materials for production.
• Move product and materials within facility (plant and/or cooler).
• Receive materials for warehouse storage.
• Supply packaging material, cartons, and hulls to line as needed.
• Maintain pallet supply for palletizer.
• Rotate packaging and ingredients using FIFO (First In - First Out).
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately with required information.
• Document information in accordance with SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education And Experience
