Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support store operations in the United States. You will unload and load products, move merchandise from backroom to showroom, and prepare items for delivery or pickup.

You will maintain floor inventory, coordinate with the Visual team, document receipts, and perform general warehouse upkeep while demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and safety-focused work habits.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.
• Ability to supervise and provide leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload and load products repeatedly from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory by arranging the showroom floor and setting up incoming products.
• Transfer products from warehouse to floor and monitor product quality.
• Remove sold products from the floor and prepare for delivery or pickup.
• Communicate with the Visual team to prioritize floor and incoming merchandise.
• Handle clerical aspects of warehouse operations, including documenting product receipt.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and backroom areas; perform housekeeping.
• Perform building maintenance tasks and complete minor repairs as necessary.
• Complete and submit the weekly warehouse checklist.
• Work to reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions.
• Fulfil other duties and special projects as assigned.
