Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member at our TAMPA store to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

The role involves cross-training in Custom Framing and responsibilities across the store, including promotion of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Explain VOC survey and assist with omnichannel options (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink control and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally and serve as a role model.
• Cross training in Custom Framing sales and production.
