Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member Only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred. (Cashier Only)
• Supporting people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets. (Cashier Only)
• 4+ years of personal outdoor experience; fishing and hunting experience preferred. (Outdoor Enthusiast Only)
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus. (Asset Protection Team Member Only)
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus. (Asset Protection Team Member Only)

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, possibly bilingual.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate POS and related equipment (Cashier Only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier Only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order systems (Cashier Only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast Only).
• Meet legal requirements for firearm transactions and FOID card (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member Only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Frequent walking, reaching, talking; occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling.
• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly; up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use fingers repetitively.
• Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
