Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS systems, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of personal experience with outdoor hobbies; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect with customers, build rapport, and engage with community through sports and outdoor pursuits; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety and operation instructions.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding written or diagrammed instructions.
• Experience with POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Ability to write routine reports and manage inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm transactions and FOID card (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.
