They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of operations to meet sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years outdoors experience preferred, especially in fishing and hunting (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for multitasking.
• Ability to interpret safety and operation documents.
• Basic math skills and common sense application.
• Proficiency with POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Ability to write routine reports and use inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies like fishing, hunting, shooting, camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Compliance with firearm transaction laws (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Ability to use basic tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Frequent walking, reaching, talking; occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use fingers repetitively.
