They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Sales Team Member Positions:

Logistics/Merchandising/Operations Positions:

• Asset Protection Team Member

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of operations to drive excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years outdoor hobbies and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and instructions.
• Operate POS and related equipment (Cashier only).
• Ability to write reports and use inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passion and knowledge in outdoor hobbies (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet legal requirements for firearm sales (Fishing and Hunting Sales only).
• Use of basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Walking, reaching, talking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 60 lbs), standing, grasping, and repetitive motions.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
