Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member Only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier Only).
• Supporting people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier Only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast Only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member Only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member Only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect, build rapport, and engage with customers, including bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Proficiency with basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier Only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier Only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems (Cashier Only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies like fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast Only).
• Compliance with federal and state firearm transaction requirements (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member Only).
• Must meet FOID card requirements (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member Only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
