Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during absences or opposing shifts and may be required to work varied hours, including weekends.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position focuses on coaching, hiring support, shipping/receiving, returns processing, and ensuring policies are followed for a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the retail showroom customer service levels and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager with goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
• Participate in interviewing and selection processes and handle recruiting tasks.
• Ensure all transactions, returns, exchanges and transfers are processed accurately and timely.
