Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, drive performance, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Position Type: Full-Time, Average Hours: 38 per week, Starting Wage: $25.50/hour, Wage Increase: Year 2 - $26.50/hour. This role includes duties such as implementing plans to improve operating results, managing staff, and ensuring customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments.
• Supervises day-to-day operations and ensures customer service standards.

Education
