Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Saint Peters, MO. You’ll be the first face of the brand for growing families, delivering exceptional service and helping customers select essential baby and children’s products.

You will lead store operations, coach the team, manage scheduling and performance, and partner with the Store Manager on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals. This role emphasizes inclusivity, development, and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while modeling service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPI reporting with the team to improve results.
• Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team through recruiting, hiring, training, and development.
• Plan, track, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
