Job summary

Yesway is seeking an assistant store manager who will support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff development, and customer service at the Hagerman location. The role includes scheduling, ensuring compliance, and overseeing audits and stock placement to maintain efficient store performance.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma and experience supervising others in fast-paced retail or food-service environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Scheduling employees for shifts.
• Resolving store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
