Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with daily operations, and help train new staff while maintaining clean, secure front-end areas.

The role requires an 18+ minimum, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–2 years cashiering with leadership exposure. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks at registers.
• Assist customers with issues at the register and maintain cleanliness of front-end areas.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and handle disciplinary steps when needed.
• Maintain security and loss prevention through monitoring exit doors and cash handling.
