Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Manchester, NH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will support opening and closing procedures, supervise and train store associates, maintain inventories, and ensure a safe, clean and welcoming shopping environment for customers and colleagues. This role also involves assisting with merchandise organization, payroll tasks, and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
