Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Massachusetts LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily functions, aiding customers, and managing stock flow from delivery to sales floor, while upholding store standards.

The role covers opening/closing, promotions, and loss prevention tasks; you will help train associates and foster a positive environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in store management or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Support merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates and ensure a safe, respectful environment.
