Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Spindale, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with policies while fostering a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff. This is a part-time role with growth opportunities at a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
