Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to bring the Store Manager’s vision to life on the sales floor. You will guide and coach Sales Associates, support onboarding and product knowledge training, and uphold our service philosophy of personal chef and friendly butcher.

You will lead shifts, manage operations, and deliver a welcoming, customer-ready environment while driving daily sales and ensuring food safety and SOP compliance. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with monthly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key-holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring customer readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Execute opening and closing routines as directed by the Store Manager.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs, food safety standards, sanitation routines, and freezer management.
