Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Chandler, AZ seeks an experienced Store Team Lead to supervise the Store Support Team and assist the Team Leader in daily operations.

You will train staff, manage stock levels, and resolve customer issues while upholding health, safety, and SOP standards. The role supports a positive work environment and high-performance teamwork, with flexibility for schedules including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Team Members.
• Train Team Members with learning checklists.
• Assist in training of new Team Members using training materials.
• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked and rotated.
• Resolve difficult customer situations.
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Communicate attendance issues to Team Leader and Store Leadership.
• Set and achieve high standards of retail execution.
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Monitor customer flows and direct Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate and counsel Team Members.
• Provide timely, thorough performance evaluations.
• Model WFM vision and goals.
