The PIC acts as Cashier-Checker, handles emergencies, and may work across departments.

Qualifications

• Follow company customer service procedures and demonstrate prior customer service skills.
• Interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Understand and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of all positions within the store.
• Ability to work independently.
• Desired: prior experience as a clerk or manager.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service as defined by employer within store policy.
• Handle emergencies, complaints, accidents, and supervise store personnel.
• Maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise sales floor, monitor service and replenishment of products.
• Replace stock in displays near the checkout area.
• Assist in keeping a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist other cashiers with register and scanner problems.
• Perform basic office tasks to assist customers and personnel.
• Operate cash register and total customers' final bill.
• Receive payment and give correct change.
• Bag groceries and assist with carry out.
• May perform close-of-day office duties.
• May count tills when others leave.
• Other duties as assigned.
