Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, complete paperwork, and assist with deposits.

You will perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets. Responsibilities include leading customer service, opening/closing, training, scheduling, safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register/scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, rotation, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Support planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cash handling integrity including deposits and cash control procedures.
• Assist store leadership in the manager's absence.
