Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus in Georgetown, TN. You will support the Store Manager in supervising staff, merchandising, deposits, and daily operations to maximize profitability while protecting assets.

Key duties include helping with scheduling, training, safety meetings, planograms, inventory control, and customer service leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service leadership and cashiering responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposits, and cash controls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership at the register and help customers.
• Open and close the store at least two days a week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Assist with planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cash accountability, deposits, refunds, and overrides under store management guidance.
• Assist in store operations in Store Manager's absence.
