Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle cash securely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees and providing training; conduct safety meetings.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and controlling damages and shrinkage.
• Assist in creating and maintaining planograms and ensuring proper product presentation.
• Support financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling and deposits.
• Assist with store operations in Store Manager's absence.
