Job summary

Michaels in Freehold, NJ is hiring team members to deliver friendly customer service at the checkout and throughout the store. You will assist customers in locating products, enroll shoppers in rewards, and support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining an inviting, in-stock store environment. Qualified candidates will have retail or customer service experience and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years or older in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation; handle returns and go-backs
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and team members in a respectful, positive manner
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
