Genuine Parts Company in Chicago area is seeking a Heavy Duty Parts Associate to assist customers with parts questions and needs, operate a cash register, and navigate catalogs. You will share knowledge about parts features, warranties, and benefits in a fast-paced team setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a passion for customer care, and the ability to train and learn in a dynamic retail environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Know How — Heavy Duty Parts Knowledge and/or Experience.
• ASE Heavy Duty Parts Certification is a PLUS.
• Passion for delivering Customer Care.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
• Motivated to train and learn.
• Ability to thrive and have fun in a Busy, Fast-Paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of Heavy Duty Parts Cataloging and/or Inventory Management Systems is a PLUS.

This position offers an hourly pay of $23.75. Many of our hourly positions have pay progression with set starting rates and you reach the top end of this range within 12 months of hire. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
