Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in delivering store execution and customer service excellence. You will lead the store staff when managers are unavailable, ensure opening and closing tasks are completed, and maintain a positive, compliant shopping environment.

This full-time role requires strong communication, supervision, and problem-solving skills, with a schedule that may include early mornings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail supervisor (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff on shifts in the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing and following up of all activities.
• Communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture—greet, help, thank.
• Handle customer relations per policy and maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signs and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
