Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team, drive store execution, and build consumer loyalty through customer service excellence. When the manager is unavailable, you lead the store staff and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise

Responsibilities

• Lead the store staff when no manager is onsite and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store’s crew through directing and following up of all activities.
• Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and greet, help, and thank customers.
• Handle customer relations in line with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signs and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Reset departments following POGs and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
