Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate in Falls Church, VA to open and close the store when management is unavailable, manage cash handling, and ensure shelves and backrooms are ready for the business day.

You will greet customers, handle returns/refunds, assist with pricing and inventory, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient shopping environment for every guest. This role may support pharmacy windows as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with pricing changes and signage to support accurate pricing.
• Assist with cashiering, stock organization, and back room maintenance, including vendor deliveries and store cleanliness.
