Job summary

S&G Stores is seeking a Shift Lead to support the store manager in running an efficient operation in line with federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. You will manage employees and collaborate with the Store Manager to maximize sales and protect assets.

The role requires retail/customer service experience, ability to lift weights, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service leadership.
• Ensures policies are followed.
• Maintains clean, organized store appearance.
• Handles cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Responds to emergencies for safety of customers and employees.
• Executes merchandising and marketing programs with proper plan‑o‑gram sign placement.
• Monitors store activities to ensure proper transactions.
• Rotates foodservice products to keep them fresh and appealing.
