Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a store operations-focused candidate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

The role includes opening the back door for deliveries and delivering a distinctive customer experience. You will engage customers, support inventory, price changes, and assist with vendor deliveries, shelf resets, and basic bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room readiness.
• Registers sales, processes refunds, voids, and ensures price verifications and cash drops to the safe.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience while assisting customers with products and services.
• Coaches team members on store processes, vendor deliveries, and backroom operations including receiving and returns.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, pricing signage, and participates in merchandising, displays, and resets.
