Job summary

This position requires a friendly, energetic candidate aged 18+ with flexible availability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to learn POS systems and perform shift leadership duties in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer-service oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with transportation to bank.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate POS and other office productivity machinery.
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler with temperatures as low as 30 degrees for up to one hour, and to move and position products in the freezer with temperatures as low as 0 degrees.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; successful pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and encouraging the store team to do the same; greet and thank each customer and provide fast, friendly service.
• Assist in day-to-day store operations including daily reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management, and maintaining facility and equipment.
• Assist in merchandising and sales; execute promotions, stock merchandise, and support pricing and promotions.
• Supervise assigned shifts in the absence of the manager; train new employees on policies and procedures; support food service and safety.
